SOWK 632 : FIELD PRACTICUM III
This graduate-level course is an extension of SOWK 631, in which students continue in their advanced generalist field practicum setting under the supervision of an experienced MSW social worker. Students will accumulate 300 hours of field experience during the semester, and complete assignments to help them extend their skill development, make effective use of field supervision, integrate professional knowledge and peer consultation to inform practice decision-making, and develop and meet placement-specific goals spanning 9 core competencies for advanced generalist social work practice.
Prerequisites
Students must have completed or be concurrently enrolled in at least 1 “Areas course” in EACH of the 3 required areas (SOWK 603, SOWK 604, SOWK 605 AND SOWK 613, SOWK 614, SOWK 615 AND SOWK 623, SOWK 624, SOWK 625).
