SOWK 625 : SETTINGS - SOCIAL WORK PRACTICE IN COMMUNITY SETTINGS

Building on the generalist curriculum, this graduate-level course introduces students to foundational knowledge and skills for working with individuals, families, and groups across community service systems and settings, with a particular focus on small non-profit organizations, housing and nutrition-oriented service settings, and youth development, recreation, and wellness-oriented settings.

Prerequisites

Acceptance in the Advanced Standing MSW program OR successful completion of the generalist MSW curriculum.
