SOWK 643 : PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SEMINAR IV

Building on student learning in SOWK 642, this graduate-level course supports students to transition from student to professional social work roles, with foci on job search, interviewing and negotiating skills, maintaining work/life balance and avoiding burn out, and planning for a changing world of social work professional practice.  Students will also prepare for the licensure exam, and finalize and present their practice portfolios showcasing their social work competencies.
