The Department of World Languages and Cultures promotes cultural competency through the exploration of international and U.S. languages, literatures, and cultural expressions. It prepares students for meaningful interactions with members of diverse communities both at home and abroad. To that end, the Department offers a minor in Spanish Language and Hispanic Cultures as well as French language instruction and Francophone culture courses.
