NUR 876 : ADVANCED PATHOPHYSIOLOGY AND PRINCIPLES OF NURSE ANESTHESIOLOGY I

In this course, second-year nurse anesthesiology students will begin an examination of advanced concepts in the anatomy and physiology of patient populations across the lifespan as well as the pathophysiology of various health system disorders. In alignment with these scientific principles, students will be introduced to surgical, procedural, and perioperative considerations with advanced principles and techniques for the delivery of safe, individualized, and holistic anesthesia care. This course is the second in a series of three sequential and required anesthesia principles courses. Learning will align with the topic matter, learning outcomes, and skills practiced in Anesthesiology Simulation Lab II.
