CJ 300 : THEORY CRIMINOLOGY & CJ SYSTEM (W)

Through this course, students become more familiar with some of the major theoretical traditions in the discipline, building on the foundation gained in CJ 211. As a writing-emphasis course, students are required to a scholarly paper on at least one social scientific theorist or theoretical tradition and will have regular, smaller writing assignments. The course also introduces students to criminal justice as an academic profession.
