REN 695 : THESIS SYMPOSIUM

The symposium prepares students to plan, research, write, present, and defend his or her MLitt thesis. The course begins with a consideration of the aims, kinds, purpose, audience, and scope of theses and includes analysis of pre-existing student theses. Ultimately, the objective of the short course is for each student, through workshops and one-on-one work with the instructor, to produce a thesis prospectus and bibliography. Elective.
