Includes the gross anatomical characteristics of the nervous system, functional characteristics of neurons, research techniques used in neurophysiology, and the functional role of the nervous system with respect to arousal, pain, sensory processes, sleep, sexual behavior, brain disorders, emotion, learning, and motivation.
