OTH 835 : PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCY

This course will prepare students for future practice as an occupational therapist by exploring professional engagement, ongoing professional development, and requirements for credentialing and state licensure.  Students will investigate how the role of the professional is enhanced through engagement and leadership in professional associations. Students will reflect on professional development during the occupational therapy curriculum and develop strategies for future ongoing professional development.
