NUR 740 : NURSING EDUCATION CAPSTONE

This capstone course serves as the culminating experience of the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Nurse Educator program. It provides students with the opportunity to integrate and apply knowledge, skills, and values essential to the role of nursing educator. Providing the student with an opportunity to apply previous concepts towards the completion of an evidence-based education proposal. The student will build on previous knowledge and practicum experiences to develop a proposal for curriculum change, innovation, or improvement in education delivery. Emphasis is placed on leadership, scholarship, and reflective practice, enabling students to demonstrate integration of the NLN Nurse Educator Core Competencies and the AACN Essentials, ensuring readiness to assume advanced roles in nursing education.
