NUR 630 : CAPSTONE PROJECT

The capstone project course presents an evidence-based approach to integrate theory, current evidence, clinical/administrative judgment, and interprofessional perspectives using the translational process to improve practice and associated health outcomes for patient aggregates. The capstone project is a culmination of knowledge acquired from previous courses involving health policy, finance, health care delivery systems, practice issues, health promotion, disease prevention, and biostatistics, Capstone project development allows the student an opportunity to engage in a team approach to translate evidence into practice. Demonstrated competencies will be the creation of an instructor-approved project, a survey of stakeholders to improve the project, and an annotated bibliography of scholarly research.
