THEA 236 : PLAY/PERFORMANCE LAB

In this course, students will dig into one or more of the plays inspired by the collaborative curatorial work done in THEA116: For All Seasons. Students will explore the plays through a variety of hands-on engagements including performance exercises, staging experiments, dramaturgical research, and design interventions. This play/performance lab investigates, innovates, and explodes the play(s) potential and performance and culminates in a public showcase, with an eye to including at least one of the titles in a future MBU Theatre production season. The course may be repeated for credit. Offered in May Term.
