NUR 901 : DNP SCHOLARLY PROJECT I

This course is the first in a series of four Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) practicum courses that will guide DNP students through the achievement of advanced competencies necessary to improve nurse anesthesiology practice, clinical decision-making, health care outcomes, relevant health policy and/or education. Students will begin the initial phases of the DNP Scholarly Project which include identification and assessment of a nurse anesthesiology practice-focused problem, evaluation of population-based and contextual factors, formulation of a practice or research question, literature review with critical appraisal and synthesis, and generation of recommendations for practice.
