NUR 872 : ANESTHESIOLOGY SIMULATION LAB II

This intermediate simulation course provides nurse anesthesia residents with experiential learning in the management of complex clinical scenarios across diverse patient populations and specialty areas. Content includes development of technical proficiency in neuraxial and regional anesthesia techniques. Introduction to and application of point-of-care ultrasound in the delivery of anesthesia care within evolving clinical conditions. Simulation course activities utilize high-fidelity technology to support clinical decision-making, technical skill development, and crisis management. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, communication, and professional performance, with structured assessment and debriefing to reinforce learning and support continuous quality improvement.
