OTH 880 : EVIDENCE INQUIRY AND APPRAISAL

Students will explore current evidence-based occupational therapy practice methods and focus on skill development in asking researchable and answerable practice-based questions, effective use of search engine databases and other resources, and appraising the quality of evidence. While creating a deeper understanding of the impact of evidence on practice, course content will also include an overview of the ethical considerations inherent in conducting research and techniques for professional writing in the occupational therapy profession.
