SOWK 641 : PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SEMINAR II

This graduate-level course builds on student learning in SOWK 640 and supports the student experience in the generalist field practicum placement (SOWK 630).  Students explore diverse areas of social work practice, continue developing strategies to promote wellness, facilitate peer consultation to arrive at sound and ethical practice decisions, and refine their individual development plans in anticipation of the learning opportunities in the advanced generalist curriculum.
