ED 639 : ASSESS & EVAL IN SPED & GIFTED ED

ln this course, students will review and understand the key concepts of assessment and evaluation of exceptional students. Students will develop a solid foundation of assessment practice, factors that may influence assessment results, and diagnostic tools used to measure academic achievement and overall intelligence. Students will become familiar with both formal and informal assessment tools, reading and interpreting assessment data, the eligibility process, and writing formal reports.
