ECON 310 : LABOR ECONOMICS & PUBLIC POLICY  (IR)

This course addresses the concerns of workers on a global scale: how changes in international trade, business practices and national economic policies affect employment, wages, unionization, child labor, and immigration. Students discuss the determinants of labor demand and supply, the benefits and costs of education and job training, and the impact of low wages in developing economies on developed country wages.
