BIOL 148 : ENVIRONMENTS (N) (ENVI)

What is our relationship with the environment? This course will examine the impact of human activity on the non-human world through an interdisciplinary lens shaped by biological studies. This course introduces the processes by which environments change over time and students will analyze the ways in which humans participate, drive, and/or confront these changes. Through modules on ecology, food systems, pollution, climate change, and sustainable development, students will gain an appreciation of the diversity and interdependence of organisms and will also work to identify actionable ways to participate more ethically in our interconnected personal, local, and global environments.

Requires BIOL 149 in order to count toward a Biology major.
